Kilbourne Illinois

We frequently take a drive over towards Havana, love to check out the area long the river there. There is a little wide spot in the road, Kilbourne Illinois. It is home to lots of good farm grown produce during the summer, watermellon and cantalopes in late August. There are several roadside opportunities to cash in on the good stuff. There is this little "camp" along the highway, a cluster of little buildings, "The Village Homestead" and they have been restored and the whole place is like a gian antique mall. A really neat little place, especially if you like antiques.
