Memorial Day at the Farm

Spent Memorial Day at dad's farm, painting the cabin and having a cookout with sister Kim, her husband John, sister Jen and her husband Mike, their son Chase and his buddy, our son Eric and his wife Kelly, and our grandson Parris. All day long, we watched small rain showers form around us, all of them moving on without dripping on us, until later in the afternoon when the skies opened up, dropping enough rain to flood the streets and fields, causing us to alter our drive home to avoid high water at the creek crossing just north of the farm. All in all, it was a great way to spend Memorial Day, and even the storm that hit us with rain, hail and high wind, was kind of cool to experience.
